Soft Potato Focaccia/ November26th

Soft Potato Focaccia is the famous focaccia Pugliese, is a style of flatbread  from southern Italy and typically calls for potato added into the dough also commonly topped with tomatoes or olives. It utilises yeast , of course, and follows the incorporation of a large percentage of cooked potato into the dough, bringing with it a massive boost to the softness and chewiness of the interior. A copious amount of extra-virgin olive oil coats the outside of the bread and finds its way into the dough, too, carrying with an added level of flavour. It’s this oil that gives such a beautiful sheen to the bottom and top crust, golden like the most beautiful sun setting.

  Parking  is available on the street close to the store. There are 2 big parking garage in the East Village as well.

• The store is situate on East 4th, on street level, across from Stick’s (so don’t go inside the building).

– Tap water is provided in class.

• Please bring any beverage you want. I have Wine glasses and openers.
• Even if I always have ToGo boxes, bring your own container for left overs!
• Please DON’T bring any extra food to class. You are going to prepare something that will be enough for dinner.  While we explain the class you can nibble the focaccia bread that you will find on the table.
